CINEMA OF THE YEAR 2009

The staff are brilliant and the cinema is encouraging baby screenings, where people can take their under 18 month babies to screenings without worrying about upsetting the rest of the audience. They always seem cheerful and willing to please.

A chain of cinemas is only as good as its work force and its policies that they follow. It's nice to have a cinema that genuinely seem to be moving forward and trying to make sure that everyone enjoys their film.

Cinebabies

Cinebabies screenings take place at Chester, Dundee, Northampton & Haverhill every Monday morning. Each week they offer a selection of movies exclusively for Parents and Babies (under 18 months). They provide pushchair storage and changing facilities, dim the lights and turn down the sound slightly so you can sit back, relax and enjoy your movie with babe in arms.

Screenings will run every Monday except bank holidays or school holidays. These screenings are only available to book at the box office and babies under 18 months go free.

This is a wonderful experience for parents. There were about 20 in the screening I popped into with Byron. Some mothers held their babies in their arms, some had them on their laps and others in pushchairs  and car seats. It was very touching and exhilarating.

Surprisingly the cinema was quiet, all babies seem to be enthralled or asleep with the recent release film. However, even if they had been screaming - this would not have been frowned upon. Cinebabies is designed for parents not to worry if their babies cry. You are  with  like minded viewers and able to experience the cinema again without worrying about the reaction to other patrons.

A quality product from Mamas and Papas for New Borns

What better to spend your baby allowance on than this car seat which allows the baby to lie flat.  Ideal for new borns for the first few months.
